This is the 25th localization product that Google has launched in China this year. The company says that it hopes to provide information service for millions of Chinese mobile phone users with this new service.

With the service, mobile phone users will get a short message reply about a search result after they send the relevant key words to “999333″. They can also make inquiries about such useful information as stocks, weather forecasts, train schedules, language translation, and contact details for restaurants. Google says it won’t charge any fee from mobile phone users for this service, but instead, they just need to pay the regular SMS fee to the mobile service operators.

Google says that it will add more search functions in the near future.
