MII Publishes 3rd Quarter SP Management Results

According to incomplete statistics issued to media, in the third quarter of this year, the communications departments across the country punished 105 illegal service providers, and ordered five service providers to stop their businesses for a rectification. In addition, the country’s telecom operators also punished a total of 260 service providers.

Among the illegal SPs, 173 had access to China Mobile, 151 to China Unicom, 24 to China Telecom and 17 to China Netcom.

MII’s statistics show that they received totally 1279 complaints against service providers’ charges in the quarter, which was down 9.99% compared with that of the previous quarter.
