Morning News (Reporter Yu Xiao) last night a lot of online users reported that the official website of China Central Television intermittently can not be logged in, WWW.CCTV.COM homepage was changed to a phone of European woman and till 20:20, it was fully restored. Since then reporter called many CCTV staff, but did not receive a positive response.
Yesterday, 8:05 p.m., reporters wanted to log on CCTV’s official website to watch today’s live broadcast notice of the Vancouver Olympic Winter Games, but was surprised to see WWW.CCTV.COM home had become an European women with watermark from” Xin Kuai Net” at the right corner. Later reporter saw at “SINA Micro-Blog (http://t.sina.com.cn)” and other forums that many users reported “CCTV official Web site has been hacked” and the earliest post was on 18:14, Attached screenshot was same as what reported saw. Although the hacked official website has no relation with CCTV Spring Festival Evening, there are still many users who linked this incident with the Spring Festival Evening broadcast believing hacker was disatisfied with too much implanted advertising by CCTV. CCTV reporter later called their staff, but they all said that “away on vacation, do not know about this.”
Since this year, the CCTV’s official website has been hacked not for the first time. According to “Xiaoxiang Morning News” reported that 12:00 on January 30 CCTV video interactive platform for “Star podcasts (video sharing),” was suddenly put up a number of unhealthy contents, video, until 14:00 it is removed. CCTV Service Center at that time responded to “Xiaoxiang Morning” that “Our technology department did not work on weekend, and no one reported this matter, and it may be a hoax.”
